Character Coaches
CHARACTER COACHES are an extension of the FCA campus ministry. They are led by a FCA volunteer or staff member. A Character Coach can serve any athletic team on campus. They work in conjunction with the coach to schedule regular times to provide a team devotional and/or Bible Study that has voluntary player attendance.
Roles of a Character Coach
- PRAY for and ENCOURAGE athletes, coaches and their families of a local sports team.
- BE AVAILABLE and equipped to assist in crisis situations.
- PROVIDE training and resources for character development and life management skills.
- COORDINATE special ministry/outreach events.
